Being an athlete has taught me…
If there is one thing being an athlete has taught me it’s;
Knowing how to motivate yourself to keep going after you’ve cracked.
Physically, mentally, socially.
Being resilient enough to find the motivation to keep moving forward when you feel like you have nothing left to give. I practice it at almost every training session I do, and it translates to how I approach life outside of sport.
So next time you crack it on the bike, keep going. Surprise yourself, remember your thoughts and feelings and use it as another lesson in life’s journey.
Oh yeah, and eat more doughnuts. Life is too short to eat bland food!
